A 1932 mansion as the clubhouse
Santa Maria at 1643 Brickell Avenue completed in 1997 — 51 storeys, 520 feet by Ugo Colombo’s CMC Group, designed by Revuelta Vega Leon. Its defining feature is preservation rather than height: the 1932 Davol mansion was retained as the building’s clubhouse, along with the carriage houses, the coral-rock wall and the original archway. Note: no reliable source publishes a confirmed residence count — the 175 figure that circulates on listing sites could not be verified.
