On the record: Florida YIMBY (Oscar Nunez, 28 October 2026) reported that construction has topped out on Villa Miami at 710 Northeast 29th Street in Edgewater, a 56-story, 650-foot tower with 70 half-floor and full-floor condominiums. Completion is anticipated in late 2027, the report said.

Who is behind it

The developers are Terra and One Thousand Group, in partnership with Major Food Group, according to the same 28 October 2026 report. It lists ODP Architecture & Design as architect, Moss Construction as general contractor, and Vicky Charles of Charles & Co. for the interiors. Terra CEO David Martin called full height “an important milestone” in that report.

The restaurant group’s name is on the building, but Douglas Elliman’s Villa Miami page, read 2 November 2026, states that the condominium is not owned, developed or sold by Major Food Group or its affiliates.

Topped out is not finished

Florida YIMBY’s 28 October 2026 report describes glass on much of the lower and middle tower, with the upper floors still exposed. Cladding has started on part of the outer frame in white panels, and the finished look is planned to be copper-toned. For scale, my own Villa Miami page had the tower at 37 floors on 18 May 2026.

What is planned inside

The same report lists The Copper Club, a private residents’ club across three amenity levels run by Major Food Group, plus a helipad and heli lounge, an off-site beach club and a planned ground-floor bayfront restaurant. It says the top penthouse was recently listed at $55 million. The developer’s site names it the Villa Triplo Penthouse.

Not published as of 2 November 2026, in the sources I read: a closing date for buyers, or how many of the 70 have sold.
