Neighborhood Location

By Day:

Midtown Miami is one of the newest up-and-coming neighborhoods in the city. The boundaries take on different shapes depending on whom you ask: Sometimes Wynwood (to the west) and Edgewater (to the east along the bay) are collectively known as Midtown. But developers have coined a new Midtown district sandwiched right in the middle. This collection of offices, retailers, restaurants, bars and condo towers has become a hot attraction for young professionals looking for a place to plant roots and have fun. For many, they’ve embraced the urban lifestyle, living in one of the new high-rise condos and walking to work just a few blocks away. But with easy access to highways and Downtown Miami, any commute is easy from Midtown.

By Night:

Midtown Miami lights up at night with a bustle of Miamians looking for a professional, upscale place to unwind. The fine restaurants in the area, like Riviera Focacceria Italiana, and bars like World of Beer have turned a sleepy corner of the city into one of its more lively ones. Everything is within walking distance, which is good because parking can sometimes be a drag. But if you live in Midtown, you’ll never have to worry about that.

Where To Live:

The most popular spots in Midtown are the namesake pair of towers, Midtown 2 and Midtown 4. Each building has high-end amenities and a range of floor plans and price points. And there are more buildings on the way. Midtown 5 and Hyde Midtown Hotel and Residences will soon be built to serve the growing demand for upscale urban living. The area has become colloquially known as Miami’s version of SoHo.

You May Also Like:

Sleek and professional yet fun and creative, Midtown shares a lot of atmospheric commonalities with Edgewater and the Design District, which are just a few blocks away. Elsewhere in the city, you can find this kind of upscale variety in parts of Coral Gables and the South of Fifth neighborhood of Miami Beach.
